What a weekend we had! At the Willamette Valley ES Fanciers Specialty
Nick won Winners Dog for a 5 point major, and his sister Sera won Winners Bitch
and Best of Winners for a 5 point major! Not to be outdone, Sassy
won Winners Bitch on the Saturday and Sunday shows to add
two 5 point majors to her credit!

Welcome to Desert English Setters! I have owned and loved English Setters for 22 years. We are now located in Kelowna, BC, and are a 4 hour drive north of Vancouver in the sunny Okanagan area of British Columbia, Canada. Currently there are four English Setters at home: Sunny, Slide, Sassy and Nick. I am happy to answer questions about English Setters, please email or phone if you wish. Occasionally I have a planned breeding using dogs that typify this wonderful breed. When I first started showing dogs, a friend told me: 'Strive to leave the breed in better condition than you found it, safeguard it for the future'. I have tried through study and practice to follow this suggestion, and will continue to do so in the future.

This website is really a tribute to all the wonderful friends that I have made through my dogs, dogshows and the internet. I hope you enjoy the thousand + photos, as well as the pedigrees that trace where my dogs have come from. While I am not able to put all of the great photos that I receive on the site, I try to rotate and update enough to make it fun, entertaining and a celebration of these dogs. I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, the English Setter Association of America, the Puget Sound English Setter Club and am the Vice President of the English Setter Club of Canada.
